Come sinking, everybody!
A group of artists and non-artists from Stuttgart, Germany, meets since more than 20 years every Monday night in a storage chamber of a small artist run space and has begun 16 years ago to remake monumental Hollywood movies lip synchrone with ever changing actors in all roles in that space of 12,5 square metres.
Since the beginning it has been on international tour in foreign art spaces or on festivals and continues to invite everybody to help completing the films for some of the hundreds of thousands shots in all roles or functions, you like.
So you are invited to watch or to participate in all actual roles for some seconds in a film, which has been more expensive than the ship, which has been lost in the sea.
Therefore a true to scale copy of the chamber is established under the roof of edicola for two nights from 7 pm to late night or early morning on Friday, 3rd of August and Saturday, 4th of August.
Costumes and requisites are found or created spontaneously. By now more than 400 "Leonardo diCaprios" have participated, half of them female, the same with the about the 400 "Kate Winslets"
Since almost 9 years we are shooting 'Titanic', the iceberg has touched the ship in 2014, since then we sink faster and faster. Right now the rear of the ship is going up steeply, passangers try to hold themselves or jump into the Atlantic.
